What a disappointment! The Chicken Korma and Tikka Masala were so unusually sickly sweet even the kids couldn't eat it. The biryani tasted like a very mild stirfry, it wasn't at all authentic or spicy. The lamb curry was a little too salty but the only food that was half decent and unfortunately had to be shared between the four of us. It's not hard to guess that we were still hungry after the inedible take away therefore had no choice but to order the trusted pizza.
This was our first time ordering from Guru Express. It was a Saturday night so the order took an hour and 15 minutes to arrive. The food was well presented with lots of sauce in both dishes. The butter chicken was tasty but very, very sweet for some reason. The chicken tikka masala was as expected in flavour. Our main concern was the lack of meat, there was 6-7 cubes of meat per dish so we were a bit disappointed and filled up on our naan and paratha bread. We also noticed that the curries were a bit watery too rather than creamy. Overall it was an adequate meal but probably would try somewhere different next time.
It was Spicy wich I love.. liked all food I ordered :) deep flavored
Just awesome. End of...
2 hours delay No valid excuse
I order two panner curry and when I eat is no test I fill like coconut milk
OMG - it was awesome: hot, plentiful and soooo FLAVOURSOME! We know Guru Express are consistently excellent, but blow me down if they're not getting better! How is that possible? Except their chef(s) must be touched by the gods! Rock on GurEx...
I ordered things that I have had on several occasions and really liked. That is the first time I have ordered so early and they have either changed the cooks or I got stuff from the night before. Couldn't eat it and probably won't order from them again.
Really great takeaway! The speed of delivery could be a little quicker but I'm ok with that if you know the quality of the food won't be impaired. Order with waiting time in mind but worth it! Great dopiaza! Continue to take your time with the prep!
Best Indian takeaway in west London. Delivered on time. Food was tasty and hot. 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
Nothing seemed to be fresh from the onions in the chutney to the lemon that was un squeezable for the onion bahji that I bit into that was yellow and had a awful taste. Very disappointed
I've ordered from Guru Express before and had a very different experience. This time the chicken tikka masala was very watery, had only a few pieces of chicken (which had a funny smell and taste to them) and so I didn't really eat it. The palak paneer was slightly burnt. The ma'am bread was tasty as was the rice. Time-wise, delivered literally at the last minute of the indicated time window, which was fine.
